About the role

The Contracts Lead will head the end‑to‑end contract management function for the Coroccohuayco mining project. Working from Lima during the pre‑feasibility phase and later from the Cusco site, the role ensures transparent, efficient and strategically aligned contracting in line with Glencore Copper objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all tendering, negotiation and contract execution activities under EPC/EPCM models.
• Coordinate contract administration with internal teams, contractors and suppliers to meet safety, cost, quality and schedule targets.
• Identify, assess and mitigate commercial and contractual risks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Promote the participation of local contractors and suppliers while ensuring compliance with environmental and social regulations.
• Maintain accurate contract records and reporting for senior management.

Required profile

• Law degree (preferably corporate, commercial or mining law) or a degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Economics or related field.
• More than 10 years of experience in contract management or procurement on large‑scale mining, infrastructure or energy projects.
• Proven track record in tendering, negotiation and EPC/EPCM contract execution.
• Experience in brownfield projects and active operating environments is highly valued.
• MBA or specialization in Contract Management, Strategic Sourcing or Supply Chain Management is an advantage.
