Marketing & Communications Coordinator (Volunteer/Intern)

About the role

Intiwawa en acción is looking for a motivated Marketing & Communications Coordinator to join its team in Arequipa. This volunteer/intern position will start at the end of September or early October and lasts at least six months. You will be the voice of Intiwawa across multiple media channels, creating and sharing content that reflects the organization’s mission.

Key responsibilities

• Produce marketing materials such as social media posts, newsletters, blog articles, and photo/video content.
• Manage and update the organization’s website and social media platforms.
• Collaborate with the German and Peruvian teams to promote projects, campaigns, and media content.
• Develop and support a communications strategy aligned with Intiwawa’s objectives.
• Report directly to the General Director and ensure consistent external representation.

Required profile

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (and preferably Spanish).
• Ability to work collaboratively with international teams.
• Interest in non‑profit advocacy and community projects.
• Flexibility to adapt to a dynamic, multicultural environment.
