Medium Voltage Line Superintendent

About the role

Bechtel is seeking a Medium Voltage Line Superintendent to lead a multidisciplinary team on the Yanacocha Water Treatment Plant project in Peru. The role involves supervising craft professionals, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring that all work meets design specifications, safety standards, and project schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise up to 50 craft personnel, including superintendents and trade professionals.
• Develop and manage work schedules, reviewing progress against plans.
• Determine workforce requirements and coordinate operational plans for the construction area.
• Monitor tool, equipment, and material usage; prepare field material requisitions.
• Ensure the latest design documents are used and that any design changes receive proper approval.
• Verify that subcontractor performance complies with specifications, budgets, and timelines.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising large craft teams on complex construction projects.
• Strong understanding of construction safety, quality, and compliance procedures.
• Ability to coordinate multiple trades and subcontractors in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent organizational and planning skills.
