About the role
We are looking for a mid‑level Backend Java Engineer to design, develop and maintain scalable cloud‑native applications. The role is fully remote, serving our Latin America teams.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build and optimise microservices deployed on AWS ECS.
- Integrate and manage data storage solutions such as DynamoDB.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver secure, high‑performance software.
Required profile
- At least 4 years of backend development experience.
- Hands‑on experience with Java, Spring Boot and RESTful APIs.
- Proven experience designing microservices and working with AWS services, especially ECS.
- Strong knowledge of SQL, data modelling and version control (Git).
- Experience in Agile development environments.
- Knowledge of software design patterns, clean code principles and best development practices.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills.
