Principal – Strategic Leadership Role in Water Solutions

About the role

The Principal will provide strategic leadership for Pentair’s water solutions in the local market, aligning projects with the company’s global sustainability goals. This full‑time, on‑site position reports to senior management and represents Pentair within the community.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute operational strategies that support Pentair’s global water solutions roadmap.
• Oversee daily performance metrics, safety, sustainability and efficiency initiatives.
• Mentor and direct cross‑functional teams across engineering, operations and project management.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure high‑quality project delivery.
• Identify improvement opportunities and implement best practices.
• Act as the company’s local ambassador, fostering community relationships.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in a technical, engineering or operations environment, preferably in industrial or water‑related sectors.
• Track record of managing cross‑functional teams and delivering measurable business results.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, using data to drive improvements.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, environmental sciences or related field; advanced degree or certifications a plus.
• Experience in on‑site industrial or manufacturing settings with a focus on safety, quality and sustainability.
• Fluency in the local language(s) and proficiency in English.
• Willingness to work full‑time on‑site in Guerreros, Mariscal de Ayacucho.
