Procurement Intern (Junior Buyer)

About the role

The Procurement Intern will support the Coroccohuayco Project procurement team in Lima, Peru, assisting with sourcing activities, document management and supplier coordination to ensure timely project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Support management and follow‑up of purchase requisitions and procurement processes.
• Assist in preparing and organizing documentation for quotations and contracts.
• Maintain procurement records, trackers and databases.
• Monitor purchase order status and coordinate with user departments to meet timelines.
• Collect and file supplier documentation according to corporate procedures.
• Help prepare reports, KPIs and presentations for the department.
• Participate in document‑control activities and support process traceability.
• Provide general administrative support to the procurement team.
• Ensure compliance with Glencore procedures, compliance standards and internal controls.

Required profile

• Recent graduate in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, International Business, Commercial Engineering or related fields.
• Availability to undertake professional or internship training.
