Project Communication Specialist

About the role

The Project Communication Specialist will join the Yanacocha Water Treatment Plant project in Cajamarca, Peru, to create high‑quality communication materials that reinforce safety, quality and a strong project culture. Working on‑site with a shift schedule, you will support leadership, internal teams and community affairs through clear, engaging messaging.

Key responsibilities

• Create inclusive communications that foster an engaged team environment.
• Identify and support engagement opportunities that build a sense of belonging and pride.
• Communicate project milestones and celebrate successes across the organization.
• Support safety and quality campaigns by delivering targeted messages.
• Design and format posters, presentations (PowerPoint or other tools), and emails for leadership across safety, quality, management, construction and engineering functions.
• Write, edit and maintain content for internal and external publications, including the project website.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, writing, journalism or a related discipline.
• Experience producing professional communication materials for large‑scale projects or similar environments.

Required skills

• Proficiency with PowerPoint for creating presentations.
