Project Manager – 5G Network & ICT Projects

About the role

China Mobile International is looking for a Project Manager to lead the delivery of 5G network and ICT projects. You will work closely with customers and internal teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to technical specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate internal and external resources for construction, operation, and maintenance of 5G service‑support systems.
• Manage system construction, acceptance, optimization, expansion, and monitoring of 5G IP Transmission equipment (IPRAN, routers, switches, firewalls).
• Research and design key 5G technologies, protocols, and solutions.
• Lead technical planning, implementation, and O&M of 5G enterprise private networks.
• Provide technical guidance to customers on installations, upgrades, and maintenance.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve on‑site issues.
• Conduct training sessions and document procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field (preferred).
• Minimum 3 years experience in network maintenance for a service provider.
• Strong knowledge of datacom, optical technologies, MPLS, OTN and data‑center infrastructure.
• Familiarity with network security standards and national regulations.
• Understanding of 5G fundamentals (RAN, MEC/UPF, lightweight 5GC, front/mid/back‑haul).
• Experience with telecom core networks, clouds, 5GC/EPC/IMS.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving skills and willingness to travel.
