Project Manager – Utility‑Scale Wind Projects (Peru)

About the role

Statkraft is seeking a Project Manager to lead the planning, execution and delivery of utility‑scale wind projects in Peru. The role oversees the full project lifecycle from development hand‑over through commissioning and hand‑over to operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end‑to‑end delivery of wind farms, developing and maintaining execution plans, schedules and budgets aligned with Peruvian regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning activities across multidisciplinary teams.
• Ensure strict compliance with HSE standards for all contractors and work fronts.
• Identify, assess and mitigate project risks, implementing corrective and preventive actions.
• Manage permitting, environmental and statutory obligations, and maintain relationships with local communities, authorities, landowners and grid operators.
• Oversee balance‑of‑plant and turbine supplier contracts, monitoring performance, quality, safety and claim management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in civil, mechanical, electrical engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience leading construction and project management of large‑scale wind projects.
• Proven ability to work with Peruvian permitting, environmental and regulatory processes (preferred).
• Strong leadership, negotiation and communication skills.
• High integrity and commitment to HSSE.
• Willingness to travel regularly to construction sites.
• Fluent in Spanish with strong English proficiency.
