Regional Sales Manager

About the role

The Regional Sales Manager will lead the sales of SSAB’s Special Steels products across the Peruvian mining sector. This includes mining companies, equipment repair operations, fabrication workshops, and subcontractors, with a focus on building strategic relationships and expanding market presence.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage relationships with mining customers and key accounts.
• Visit and educate customers on the correct application of wear‑resistant steels together with the Technical Development Manager.
• Identify new wear‑related applications and business opportunities.
• Define short‑ and long‑term sales strategies for the mining segment and support the Hardox Wearparts network and local fabrication partners.
• Manage demand, sales forecasts, and material availability to ensure high service levels.
• Strengthen SSAB’s market presence through industry events, technical presentations, and business development activities.
• Maintain accurate reporting, forecasting, and account management while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Required profile

• Engineering bachelor’s degree with sales experience in a related product field.
• Knowledge of market dynamics in the Peruvian mining industry.
• Experience handling large accounts and interacting with senior management and purchasing departments.
• Strong oral and written communication skills, including proposal writing.
• Proficiency in English (both spoken and written).
• Willingness to travel up to 60% and work primarily in the Arequipa zone.
