Remote Peruvian Spanish Recording Task

About the role

Appen is looking for native Peruvian Spanish speakers in Peru to take part in a data collection project with CrowdGen. Selected participants become independent contractors in the CrowdGen Community and record 400 sentences by reading the text shown on the screen. The work is fully remote and flexible.

Key responsibilities

• Record 400 sentences in Peruvian Spanish, reading each one exactly as it appears on the screen.
• Speak naturally, clearly and at a moderate pace, with a consistent speaking volume.
• Complete all recordings with the same voice and account.
• Make sure the recording environment is quiet, with no background noise such as conversations, TV, music, traffic or running water.

Required profile

• Native speaker of Peruvian Spanish living in Peru.
• Authentic, standard Peruvian Spanish pronunciation.
• Able to read and record sentences clearly.
• One account can only be used by one person and one voice; no voice or person substitution.
