RVP, GTM Technical & Product Execution Excellence

About the role

We are looking for a technically savvy, visionary leader to partner with the SVP of Field Engineering and the broader leadership team of Databricks, a 3,000‑person global organization. The role will shape the future of Field Engineering, drive product execution at scale, and champion AI‑driven productivity across the company.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the strategic business partner to the SVP of Field Engineering, defining long‑term strategy and OKRs.
• Design and test innovative operating models, deciding where to centralise functions and where to delegate accountability.
• Provide inputs on product planning, target setting and resource allocation for GTM initiatives.
• Run inspection cadences across Product, Sales, Operations and Field Engineering to resolve pipeline or product gaps quickly.
• Collaborate with Professional Services and Enablement leaders to scale operations, hiring and resourcing strategies.
• Identify and implement AI, automation and tooling opportunities to boost productivity and focus teams on high‑impact work.
• Influence cross‑functional teams including Strategy, Finance, People and Sales to ensure effective execution of strategic initiatives.

• Strong strategic thinking with a track record of delivering large‑scale operational change.
• Ability to work at the intersection of strategy, execution and technical leadership.
• Excellent communication and influence skills across multiple business functions.
