Senior Android Developer – Remote

About the role

Nortal is looking for a Senior Android Developer to lead the design, development and maintenance of high‑performance mobile applications. You will work remotely within a LATAM‑focused team, collaborating with product managers, UI/UX designers and backend engineers to deliver scalable digital experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement robust, reusable Android code following best‑practice architecture.
• Apply software engineering design patterns to ensure modular and performant applications.
• Mentor junior developers and promote technical excellence within the mobile team.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate complex requirements into functional features.
• Maintain code quality through code reviews, testing and continuous integration.

Required profile

• Several years of professional experience developing Android applications.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work autonomously.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Required skills

• Android development (Android SDK, Kotlin/Java)
• Mobile app architecture and design patterns
• Version control (e.g., Git)
