Senior Backend Engineer – Java & Python

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to build and evolve high‑performance services using Java and Python. The role is fully remote and focuses on cloud‑native, containerized micro‑services for enterprise customers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and micro‑services using Java and Python.
• Build, deploy, and manage containerized applications with Docker, Kubernetes (K8S/K3S) and Helm.
• Implement and optimise RESTful APIs, CI/CD pipelines, and database integrations.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve platform stability, security and performance using observability tools.
• Deploy workloads on AWS, Azure, hybrid or on‑premises environments.
• Collaborate in Agile teams, mentor junior engineers and contribute to code reviews.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of backend software engineering experience delivering enterprise or cloud‑native applications.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Java and Python development.
• Proven ability to design and implement RESTful APIs and micro‑services architectures.
• Experience working in Agile environments with strong collaboration and communication skills.
