Senior Business Development Analyst

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Senior Business Development Analyst to drive growth with existing and new partners in the payments ecosystem. You will work within the Market Development, Acceptance team, collaborating across functions to support strategic priorities such as digital adoption, cross‑border flows, and revenue expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Support the team in achieving business targets for new and existing Mastercard customers.
• Influence customer account strategies using analytical problem‑solving and data tools.
• Provide market data, profitability modeling, financial forecasting, and competitive analysis.
• Build strong relationships with customers, addressing business and operational needs.
• Manage project execution across business development, advertising, marketing, and product management.
• Participate in business conversations with key decision‑makers internally and externally.
• Act as project manager and lead end‑to‑end resources on small to mid‑size projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree required; postgraduate studies preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, presentation, verbal and written communication skills.
• Independent, motivated self‑starter with a sense of urgency.
• Meticulous, detail‑oriented and able to multitask in a demanding global environment.
• Experience in the payments industry and knowledge of banking & payments markets preferred.
