Senior Data Engineer (Databricks)

About the role

Intetics Inc. is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to own and evolve Databricks pipelines that power an AI‑driven predictive data platform for mid‑market enterprises. You will ensure the data backbone is fast, reliable, and ready for global scale while supporting new customer onboarding and legacy migration.

Key responsibilities

• Provide production support for Databricks pipelines, including monitoring, alerting, and incident response.
• Maintain SLA metrics and report on pipeline health for internal and external stakeholders.
• Identify and implement optimizations to reduce compute costs, improve throughput, and shorten processing windows.
• Migrate legacy ETL/ELT pipelines to Databricks and build automation tooling to minimize manual effort.
• Provision, validate, and harden tenant pipelines for new customers across Azure and AWS environments.
• Design and manage Delta Lake architecture, including schema design and partitioning strategies.

Required profile

• Proven experience with large‑scale data pipelines on Databricks.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and data lake concepts.
• Track record of delivering reliable, high‑performance data solutions in a production environment.
• Ability to work closely with ML engineers, product teams, and enterprise architects.
