About the role
Sovos is looking for a Senior Enterprise Account Executive to drive new revenue by selling its tax compliance SaaS solutions to large Financial Services and Insurance organizations. You will own the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, and build a high‑performance pipeline across your territory.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to identify and grow opportunities within the assigned territory.
- Manage the complete sales cycle: prospect top accounts, deliver product demos, negotiate and close deals.
- Sell Sovos SaaS‑based products and services to net‑new Financial Services and Insurance customers.
- Achieve and exceed revenue targets and quotas while delivering profitable new‑business growth.
- Maintain an accurate, balanced pipeline in Salesforce.com.
- Leverage AI‑powered tools to prioritize prospects and accelerate deal velocity.
- Navigate complex enterprise sales cycles (>$100K) and engage senior executives.
- Act with integrity and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.
Required profile
- 3–5 years of corporate selling experience with proven success in large Financial Services organizations.
- Demonstrated ability to close large enterprise opportunities and manage complex sales cycles.
- Experience selling SaaS‑based or outsourced services (preferred).
- Strong prospecting, targeting and closing skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding quotas.
- Proficiency in Salesforce.com and the Microsoft Office suite; comfortable adopting new sales technology and AI tools.
