Senior Finance Executive

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Finance Executive to own the month‑end close process, financial analysis and reporting for our Philippine entity operating in the iGaming sector. The role will act as a key liaison between finance and other business functions, ensuring accurate revenue recognition and compliance with local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of assigned areas during the monthly management accounts close process.
• Prepare and review month‑end accounting entries, including accruals, pre‑payments, depreciation and amortisation.
• Perform detailed P&L analysis, investigate variances and highlight potential issues.
• Process and review general ledger transactions such as AR, AP, bank postings and journals.
• Assist in client invoicing and ensure accurate revenue recognition.
• Prepare bank and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Reconcile multi‑currency inter‑company balances, investigate foreign‑exchange differences and support group reporting eliminations.
• Analyse gaming revenue metrics (GGR, NGR) and understand their impact on reporting and commercial agreements.
• Manage the finance mailbox, providing timely responses to suppliers, customers and internal stakeholders.
• Liaise with Commercial, Business Intelligence, Operations and other departments.
• Support the Finance Manager with reporting packs, audits and ad‑hoc analysis.
• Identify opportunities to improve finance processes and controls.
• Assist with statutory and regulatory submissions for the Philippine entity, including tax filings and corporate compliance.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably within iGaming.
• Strong experience in monthly management accounts and month‑end close procedures.
• Knowledge of Philippine tax compliance, statutory reporting and corporate filing requirements is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently and meet strict month‑end deadlines.
• Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills.
• ACCA qualification or a relevant Bachelor’s degree is a plus.
