Senior Java Developer – AI-Assisted Code Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer who will act as an AI‑Assisted Java Code Analyst. The role involves designing, reviewing and optimizing Java‑based solutions, particularly within trading‑controls applications, while leveraging AI tools to improve code quality and documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop specifications and technical components, ensuring integration with other teams and systems.
• Document solutions in tools such as JIRA, Confluence and ALM.
• Analyze and review Java and Spring Boot applications to enhance scalability, maintainability and reduce technical debt.
• Use AI‑powered assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Devin) to accelerate code analysis, refactoring and documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to identify performance bottlenecks and propose improvements.
• Support the implementation of best practices in backend and frontend development.
• Contribute to continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
• Manage requests to production support teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a Java developer.
• Hands‑on experience with Java and Spring Boot frameworks.
• Familiarity with AI‑assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Devin.
• Experience documenting work in JIRA, Confluence or ALM.
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross‑functional teams.
