Senior Kotlin/Java Backend Engineer - Remote work

About the role

In this role you will build backend services using Kotlin and Java Spring, designing APIs that power reliable, scalable systems in production. You will work with AWS infrastructure and collaborative development workflows, applying deep JVM expertise to meaningful backend challenges that other teams and products depend on.

Key responsibilities

• Develop backend services using Kotlin and Java Spring.
• Design and build APIs with a strong focus on scalability and reliability.
• Work with AWS infrastructure to deploy, manage, and scale applications.
• Collaborate with engineering teams using GitHub workflows.

Required profile

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin.
• Hands‑on experience with Java Spring.
• Experience with GitHub for version control and collaboration.
• Experience with AWS, including Aurora, ECS, and S3.
• Strong experience designing APIs.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
