Senior Red Team Security Consultant

About the role

Mandiant is seeking a Senior Red Team Security Consultant to join its Red Team Consulting practice. The role involves assessing and advising clients on technical and process‑based security controls across a variety of environments, performing both red and purple team engagements, and contributing to the team’s offensive capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct red and purple team assessments, including adversarial emulation of cyber attacks.
• Perform external and internal penetration testing of networks, web applications, mobile apps, wireless systems, and embedded devices.
• Execute assumed‑breach engagements, ransomware readiness reviews, threat analysis, and social‑engineering assessments.
• Develop and enhance offensive tools, research new attack techniques, and integrate threat‑actor intelligence.
• Share knowledge through internal presentations, documentation, and collaborative research.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 5 years of hands‑on experience in penetration testing and red‑team operations covering network, web, mobile, cloud, social engineering, scripting, or tool development.
• Fluent English communication skills for interaction with internal partners and customer teams.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.
• Mexican citizenship (as required by local labor law).
