Senior Specialist, Market Access & HEOR (Peru/Chile)

About the role

The Senior Specialist will lead health economic modelling and market access initiatives for Merck's products in Peru and Chile. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams and external partners to generate evidence that supports reimbursement and payer negotiations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead cost‑effectiveness and budget impact analyses to demonstrate product value.
• Develop product value propositions by integrating evidence gaps, HEOR analyses and HTA trends.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to provide scientific evidence, economic models and published data aligned with payer requirements.
• Design and implement access strategies, including managed entry agreements and innovative payer contracts.
• Train cross‑functional teams on the use of scientific evidence in stakeholder discussions.
• Ensure scientific quality of deliverables and support HTA collaborations with industry associations.
• Prepare evidence‑based policy documents to engage key decision‑makers.

Required profile

• Deep understanding of the health‑care systems in Peru and Chile.
• At least 3 years of experience in HEOR, HTA or market access roles within the region.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry (preferred) and >1 year in the public sector.
• College degree in Health Science, Economics, Epidemiology or related field.
• Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken).
