About the role

As a Serverless Backend Engineer you will design and build high‑performance, event‑driven backend systems using Python and AWS serverless services. The role is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while collaborating with a global team of top‑tier engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain highly scalable backend application logic and APIs.
• Architect and optimise event‑driven workflows leveraging managed cloud environments such as AWS Lambda.
• Apply rigorous backend design patterns to ensure reliability and decoupled performance.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to establish standards for scalability and efficiency.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering or backend development.
• Strong proficiency in Python and backend application development.
• Proven expertise in building serverless architectures using AWS Lambda.
• Solid understanding of backend design patterns and cloud services.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
