Software Developer

About the role

We are seeking a Software Developer to join our team and help build and evolve critical solutions that support key banking operations. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver reliable, high‑performance applications aligned with business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in the development and evolution of core banking applications to support essential business operations.
• Perform corrective, adaptive, and evolutionary maintenance of mission‑critical applications with high availability requirements.
• Analyze and resolve production incidents to minimize impact on banking operations.
• Participate in functional, integration, and certification testing to ensure application stability before deployment.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of relevant professional experience in software development.
• Hands‑on experience with application development in COBOL on IBM z/OS.
• Experience with batch process programming using JCL.
• Proficiency in transactional application development with CICS.
• Solid knowledge of IBM Db2 and SQL databases for data management and querying.
• Excellent written and verbal command of English and Spanish at a B2 level or higher.
