Software Engineer – Rust (Fintech Platform)

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer specialized in Rust to help build and scale Payward Services’ enterprise infrastructure platform. You will work on the core systems that enable trading, payments and digital‑asset services for fintechs, banks and brokerages, ensuring they run safely and efficiently at scale.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain high‑performance Rust services and libraries that power trading, payments and crypto experiences.
• Write reusable, testable and efficient code that supports revenue‑critical systems.
• Collaborate on large‑scale distributed system architecture, translating product requirements into low‑latency solutions.
• Debug issues across the full stack, including operating system, network and application layers.
• Take end‑to‑end ownership of services and libraries, from design through production monitoring.

Required profile

• 3+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in writing network services or asynchronous code in Rust.
• Security‑first mindset when designing systems.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaborate with product teams.
