Staff Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a self‑motivated, detail‑oriented Staff Accountant to join our finance team. The role involves supporting month‑end close, performing reconciliations, and contributing to various accounting projects in a fast‑paced, multi‑client environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare standard journal entries and manage the closing calendar to meet reporting deadlines.
• Perform month‑end reconciliations for balance‑sheet accounts according to established priorities.
• Analyze general ledger accounts and selected cost centers, providing insights and recommendations.
• Review ledger activity for accuracy, completeness, and reasonableness, flagging any deviations.
• Execute bank and reporting uploads.
• Support cross‑functional accounting projects on an as‑needed basis.
• Prepare monthly closing reports.

Required profile

• 1–5 years of accounting experience, preferably with multi‑client exposure.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet hard deadlines.
• Professional handling of confidential and sensitive information.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
