Superintendent Electrical & Instrumentation – East (Junior)

About the role

Bechtel is seeking a Junior Superintendent to lead electrical and instrumentation activities for the East water‑treatment plant at the Yanacocha mining complex in Peru. The role involves coordinating subcontractors, ensuring safety and quality, and aligning field work with the overall project schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and organize subcontractor planning, safety, quality and technical activities.
• Prepare construction drawings, sketches and develop construction methods and procedures.
• Develop workforce, material and equipment projections and schedules.
• Inspect installation of materials and equipment to verify compliance with drawings, specifications and vendor requirements.
• Enforce field policies, procedures and work rules.
• Collaborate with field engineers, foremen and craft professionals to interpret design and vendor documents.
• Coordinate engineering solutions with subcontractors and foremen.

Required profile

• Experience supervising electrical and instrumentation work on construction projects.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and moderate‑complexity tasks.
• Strong focus on safety, quality and schedule adherence.
