AI Software Engineer – Remote (LATAM)

About the role

Futureproofing is looking for an AI Software Engineer to join high‑growth startups building real AI‑driven products. You will work remotely from anywhere in LATAM, building and shipping MVPs that integrate large language models, APIs and AI‑assisted workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and ship AI‑powered MVPs quickly.
• Work hands‑on with LLMs, external APIs and AI workflow tools.
• Integrate AI features into fintech, biotech or next‑gen infrastructure products.
• Collaborate with startup teams remotely, ensuring code quality across the full stack.
• Maintain and iterate on production AI features post‑launch.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience shipping production software.
• Strong proficiency in modern languages such as JavaScript (React, Node.js) and/or Python.
• Comfortable working full‑stack and building 0→1 solutions.
• Hands‑on experience building, experimenting with or deploying AI products.
• Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented and able to thrive in ambiguous environments.
