About the role

Join EY's People Advisory Services team in Arequipa as a Labor Consulting Assistant. You will support companies in navigating Peru's labor regulations, ensuring compliance, and optimizing their human‑capital strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Calculate statutory labor benefits such as gratifications, CTS, profit sharing and vacation accruals.
• Compute legal payroll taxes and contributions, including Essalud, AFP/ONP, and income tax.
• Assist with hiring, subcontracting and related contractual procedures.
• Analyze remuneration structures from both labor and tax perspectives.
• Develop improvement proposals to address identified labor‑law findings or contingencies.
• Address other legal matters linked to employment relationships.

Required profile

• Graduate or Bachelor degree in Law.
• Preferable experience in labor consulting, labor audits, social‑benefit payments, tax contributions, hiring processes and inspection procedures.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Strong written communication skills.
• Intermediate level of English.
• Residency in Arequipa.
