About the role

We are looking for a bilingual, highly organized professional to join a growing personal‑injury medical practice. The primary focus is to clear a backlog of patient follow‑up calls, document recovery progress, and support legal documentation requests. This remote, part‑time position offers a steady workflow and the chance to make a tangible impact on patient care and case outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Contact patients 4‑6 weeks after visits to assess recovery and current condition.
• Conduct outbound outreach via calls, texts, or approved channels, maintaining professionalism and persistence.
• Complete structured symptom questionnaires and record responses accurately in the practice’s tracking database.
• Respond to attorney and law‑firm requests for medical records, evaluations, and billing documentation, ensuring completeness and precision.
• Upload completed documents to designated portals and track outstanding requests to prevent gaps.
• Provide end‑of‑day reports summarizing calls, outreach attempts, pending follow‑ups, and completed tasks.
• Learn scheduling and intake workflows to provide backup coverage and assist with incoming communications when needed.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a medical assistant or in a similar patient‑facing healthcare role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and a second language.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive medical and legal information.
• Dependable, organized, and able to work independently in a remote environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) or symptom‑tracking databases.
• Experience uploading documents to secure portals and managing digital records.
