BIM Team Leader Mechanical & Plumbing

About the role

ENG is seeking a BIM Team Leader (Job Captain) to head multidisciplinary mechanical and plumbing modeling teams on complex architectural and engineering projects. The role combines hands‑on Revit modeling expertise with leadership, quality control, and coordination responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor modelers, ensuring adherence to project standards and timelines.
• Identify and resolve missing or conflicting information across models.
• Manage RFIs and RFCs efficiently throughout project stages.
• Conduct detailed quality‑control reviews for assigned MEP disciplines.
• Influence modeling strategies and promote seamless collaboration within the team and with external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Fluent English – spoken and written – able to converse with native and non‑native speakers.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering (architects considered with extensive MEP experience).
• Minimum 5 years of experience using Revit and Navisworks (or Revizto) on large‑scale MEP projects.
• Proven experience modeling HVAC and plumbing systems for commercial, industrial, healthcare, or residential construction.
• Strong QA/QC skills with the ability to anticipate and mitigate issues.
