Business Development Manager – Renewable Energy (LATAM)

About the role

The Business Development Manager will lead revenue growth and market expansion for ARRAY Technologies across Latin America, focusing on utility‑scale solar projects and strategic partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute business development strategies to increase revenue and market share in assigned regions (e.g., Brazil, LATAM).
• Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and key accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, EPC contractors, developers, and industry stakeholders.
• Manage and coach a team of business development professionals, setting performance targets.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, engineering, and product teams to align commercial and technical strategies.
• Support complex deal structuring, negotiations, and contract execution.
• Analyze market trends, competitive positioning, and customer needs to guide strategic decisions.
• Maintain a robust sales pipeline with accurate forecasting and reporting.
• Represent ARRAY at industry events, conferences, and customer engagements.
• Contribute to pricing strategies, value‑proposition development, and commercial governance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Finance or related field.
• 8–12 years of experience in business development, sales or commercial roles, preferably in renewable energy or infrastructure.
• Proven track record of generating new business and closing complex deals.
• Experience leading or managing commercial teams.
• Strong understanding of utility‑scale solar projects and EPC business models.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.
• Fluency in English; Portuguese or Spanish highly preferred for LATAM markets.
