Corporate Security Consultant

About the role

The Corporate Security Consultant at SCR Recursos Humanos works full‑time on‑site in Lima, helping the organization strengthen its security posture. You will assess systems, networks and applications, identify vulnerabilities and propose practical mitigation strategies while supporting incident response and compliance initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct security audits, risk assessments and vulnerability analyses across the corporate environment.
• Develop, update and enforce security policies, procedures and regulatory compliance frameworks.
• Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to design and implement security controls and tools.
• Prepare clear security reports and presentations for management and advise on best‑practice standards.
• Contribute to security awareness programs and guide secure network and application implementations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in security consulting, risk assessment and security architecture review.
• Hands‑on expertise in vulnerability management, incident response and governance frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of network security (firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, secure design) and application security (secure coding, code review, vulnerability analysis).
• Familiarity with standards such as ISO 27001, NIST and PCI DSS, and experience implementing controls in corporate settings.
• Relevant academic background (Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering) and certifications (CISSP, CISM, CEH) are a plus.
