Data Engineer (Azure) – Remote

About the role

As a Data Engineer specializing in Azure, you will build and maintain scalable data solutions that power data‑driven decision making across the organization. You will work remotely with a global team of top‑tier technology professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement end‑to‑end data pipelines using Azure Data Factory.
• Develop and optimise data architectures with Azure Synapse Analytics and Microsoft Fabric.
• Write high‑performance SQL and Python scripts for data transformation and analytics.
• Integrate data solutions with Power BI for reporting and visualisation.
• Manage data modelling and warehousing to ensure performance and integrity.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and scale the enterprise data platform.

Required profile

• 4+ years of data engineering experience within the Microsoft ecosystem.
• Proven expertise in Azure Data Factory and Synapse Analytics.
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Fabric and Power BI integration.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for data processing.
• Solid understanding of data modelling and governance best practices.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
