About the role

As an Engineering Manager within Growth Foundations, you’ll lead and develop a team of engineers delivering high‑impact features, platforms, and tools that power our growth. You’ll stay hands‑on, writing production‑grade code while guiding the team toward reliable, scalable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and support a cross‑functional engineering team delivering growth‑critical systems.
• Collaborate daily with Product and Design to define scope, set priorities, and ensure seamless execution.
• Maintain clear expectations, realistic estimates, and transparent communication with stakeholders.
• Provide technical guidance for architectural and implementation decisions.
• Foster a culture of accountability, trust, and continuous learning.
• Improve team processes, communication, and collaboration across time zones.
• Partner with other engineering leaders to ensure consistency and best practices.
• Leverage AI tooling daily to boost personal and team productivity.
• Stay hands‑on in the codebase, writing production‑grade code and setting quality standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading engineering teams and delivering high‑quality results.
• Strong people‑leadership skills with a focus on coaching, clarity, and empowerment.
• Solid backend technical foundation; able to engage in design discussions and code reviews.
• Demonstrated individual contributor background, writing production‑grade code.
• High proficiency in modern AI‑driven development and automation.
• Familiarity with one or more modern programming languages (e.g., TypeScript, Rust, Go, Python).
• Product mindset with attention to user impact and key metrics.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Experience working in distributed, remote‑first teams.
