ETL/Data Engineer (Remote)

About the role

As an ETL/Data Engineer you will design and implement data processing systems and ETL pipelines that turn raw data into actionable business insights. You will architect scalable solutions, optimise data workflows and work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure reliable data delivery for analytics and BI initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable ETL pipelines and data processing systems.
• Build and optimise data architectures for efficient extraction, transformation and loading.
• Implement data quality checks and monitoring to guarantee accuracy and reliability.
• Collaborate with data analysts and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Optimise data storage and retrieval for performance and cost‑effectiveness.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex pipeline issues while maintaining system stability.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in ETL development or data engineering.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, Python and data processing frameworks.
• Experience with data warehousing concepts and cloud‑based data platforms.
• Understanding of database design, data modelling and performance optimisation.
• Familiarity with version control systems and pipeline orchestration tools.
• Knowledge of data quality assurance and monitoring best practices.
• Advanced level of English.
