Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst

About the role

The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst will serve as a key decision‑support partner for senior leadership, turning raw financial data into actionable insights. Working closely with the CEO and cross‑functional teams, you will help identify cost‑saving opportunities, improve financial controls, and drive operational efficiency across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, maintain and analyse the company’s profit & loss statements and related financial reports.
• Conduct regular audits of accounting records, expenses, vendor contracts and subscriptions to uncover wasteful or duplicate spending.
• Perform budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis to highlight trends, risks and growth opportunities.
• Develop, monitor and report on financial KPIs that give leadership clear visibility into performance.
• Review and enhance financial processes, controls and workflows for accuracy and efficiency.
• Identify and implement automation opportunities for reporting and operational reviews.
• Create dashboards, financial models and regular reports for data‑driven decision‑making.
• Collaborate with all departments to investigate discrepancies, unusual expenditures and improvement initiatives.
• Provide weekly financial and operational summaries to the CEO, including recommendations and tracking of approved actions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in financial analysis, FP&A or financial operations within a fast‑moving environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate numbers into clear business recommendations.
• Excellent attention to detail and a track record of improving financial controls.
• Effective communication skills for presenting findings to senior leadership.
