Financial Risk Manager

About the role

Revolut is seeking a second‑line Financial Risk Manager to identify, manage and report on financial risk across its global operations. Working closely with Treasury, Finance, Credit and Compliance, you will independently assess risk‑taking activities and help ensure the business operates within its desired risk appetite.

Key responsibilities

• Implement Economic Capital, ICAAP and Basel III requirements (LCR, NSFR, IAC, EVE, NII).
• Oversee interest rate risk in the banking book (IRRBB) and manage assets and liabilities.
• Measure liquidity risk, conduct stress testing, prepare contingency funding plans and manage intraday liquidity and collateral.
• Serve as a member of the Asset Liability Committee and Risk Committee.
• Monitor capital and liquidity risk exposures against internal and regulatory limits.
• Model financial risks under stress scenarios and perform back‑testing analysis.
• Analyse economic and political developments to anticipate sovereign risk impacts.
• Define, implement and coordinate the Integrated Risk Management Forum.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in financial risk management within financial services.
• Deep knowledge of financial risk regulations and their banking‑industry application.
• Understanding of stress‑testing methodologies and model governance.
• Analytical mindset with ability to break down complex problems.
• Strong autonomy in decision‑making and sound judgement.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Experience working with regulators such as SBS, BCRP, ASBANC.
