About the role
At Coforge we are hiring a Junior Data Engineer to develop and maintain dbt models, collaborate with analysts, and ensure data pipeline reliability. The role is fully remote and supports multiple locations across Latin America.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain dbt models to transform raw data into structured, actionable datasets.
- Collaborate with Data Analysts and stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver aligned solutions.
- Implement best practices for data modeling, testing, and documentation within the dbt framework.
- Optimize dbt models for performance and scalability.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
Required profile
- 1–3 years of experience in data engineering or analytics roles with a focus on dbt.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
- Advanced proficiency in English.
