Junior Superintendent Scaffold East

About the role

The Junior Superintendent Scaffold East will support the project construction superintendent on the Yanacocha Water Treatment Plant project in Peru. The role focuses on planning, safety, quality, and technical support to ensure that scaffold and related construction activities are executed safely and on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the superintendent in directing craft activities and ensuring compliance with plans, training, ES&H, and quality standards.
• Participate in the preparation of construction drawings, sketches, and method statements.
• Develop workforce, material, and equipment projections and schedules.
• Monitor tool and equipment usage on site and prepare field material requisitions.
• Manage HI‑VIS GSS safety compliance, critical control verification, and reporting.
• Inspect installation of materials and equipment to verify conformance with drawings, specifications, and vendor requirements.

Required profile

• Junior‑level professional with experience in construction site supervision.
• Ability to work under the guidance of a superintendent and follow detailed plans.
• Familiarity with safety and quality procedures in a large‑scale industrial project.
