Mining Proposal Manager – East & LATAM

About the role

AECOM is seeking an experienced Mining Proposal Manager to join its global mining team, operating from either Lima, Peru or Charlotte, NC. The role leads the development of high‑stakes proposals and presentations for mining, environmental, infrastructure and water contracts across LATAM and the United States.

Key responsibilities

• Lead large, complex, priority pursuits from capture through interview stage, ensuring timely, compliant and persuasive proposals.
• Coach interview teams, facilitate Pink and Red team reviews, and apply lessons learned to improve win strategies.
• Act as compliance reviewer, participate in Go/No‑Go decisions, and support capture planning and positioning activities.
• Develop and maintain marketing content, website copy, brochures and digital media in collaboration with CAMs and sector leaders.
• Supervise or mentor Bid Management Coordinators and Specialists as needed.

Required profile

• BA/BS degree (or equivalent experience) with at least 8 years of proposal leadership in environmental, infrastructure or mining sectors.
• Fluency in English and Spanish.
• Strong understanding of A/E industry dynamics, AECOM’s mining clients, projects and competitors.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects, maintain confidentiality and work both independently and collaboratively.
