Money Laundering Reporting Officer – Peru

About the role

Revolut is seeking an experienced Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) to lead its AML/CFT compliance programme in Peru. Reporting to the Global FinCrime MLRO, you will act as the primary liaison with local regulators and support all anti‑money‑laundering activities as the company expands its services.

Key responsibilities

• Build and oversee the local FinCrime and AML programme for Peru, in close collaboration with group FinCrime teams.
• Develop, implement and maintain MLRO‑related policies, procedures and controls from the ground up.
• Serve as the main point of contact with the Peruvian regulator, establishing and maintaining a strong regulatory relationship.
• Identify, assess and mitigate regulatory and financial‑crime risks together with senior management.
• Define customer onboarding identification and verification standards to ensure AML compliance.
• Manage the end‑to‑end suspicious activity reporting process, both internally and to external authorities.
• Communicate financial‑crime responsibilities across internal teams and deliver staff training.
• Respond to law‑enforcement requests and handle filings with the local Financial Investigation Unit.
• Support Revolut’s launch and growth in Peru, ensuring new product features meet regulatory expectations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in AML, financial‑crime compliance or a related regulatory role.
• Strong knowledge of financial‑services regulation, fraud detection best practices and emerging money‑laundering typologies.
• Proven ability to work with senior management and regulatory bodies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
