Pharmacovigilance Country Head (PE/VE)

About the role

The Pharmacovigilance Country Head will lead the collection, analysis, and reporting of adverse event data for all marketed and pipeline products in Peru. Reporting to senior medical affairs leadership, the role ensures regulatory compliance and provides strategic safety expertise across the product lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and manage adverse event data for marketed and investigational products.
• Implement and oversee adverse event processes, databases, and regulatory reporting (expedited and periodic).
• Provide strategic safety input to clinical development programs and drive patient risk management.
• Identify, analyze, and communicate safety signals to shape emerging drug safety profiles.
• Deliver high‑quality safety data and analyses to internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Advanced life‑sciences degree (MD preferred) or equivalent experience.
• 3‑5 years of experience in a global healthcare organization, preferably in Clinical Development, Medical Affairs, or Pharmacovigilance.
• Hands‑on experience with drug development stages, especially clinical operations.
• Proven ability to develop and author complex pharmacovigilance documents.
• Experience leading multicultural, cross‑functional teams.
