Ports, Goods and Movements Infrastructure Project Manager

About the role

AECOM is looking for an experienced Ports, Goods and Movements Project Manager to support the LATAM region, based in its Lima office. The role combines business development for the goods and movement and ports market with the planning, execution and delivery of projects across the conceptual, prefeasibility, feasibility and detail design phases.

Key responsibilities

• Business development: set strategies, identify opportunities, engage clients and develop capture plans and contract negotiations.
• Plan and execute projects, covering planning, execution, delivery and closure, including risk management at proposal and execution stages.
• Manage projects at conceptual, prefeasibility, feasibility and detail design phases, reporting to the LATAM Transportation Business Line Leader.
• Manage a portfolio of clients with multiple projects, delivering assigned revenues and planned profit margins without write-downs or multiplier erosion.
• Manage complex clients and projects, typically those involving risk-triggering factors, and direct staff to minimise exposure to claims.
• Supervise and direct multiple projects or programmes of projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a related industry.
• Over 6 years of experience designing, managing and delivering goods and movements or ports projects.
• Client management skills to pursue and close opportunities and deliver projects to client satisfaction.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Preferred: 10+ years of experience and a PMP certificate or relevant certifications.
