Procurement Officer

About the role

Lycopodium is seeking a Procurement Officer to join its San Isidro office in Peru. Reporting to the Procurement and Contracts Manager, you will support the Project Services Group or specific projects with procurement, purchasing, expediting, cost control, and logistics activities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage interactions with clients, suppliers, manufacturers and freight companies professionally and ethically.
• Communicate openly with internal customers to maintain high service levels.
• Follow project‑specific and company procedures, work practices and protocols.
• Execute expediting and logistics functions as directed by the Procurement & Contracts Manager or Project Manager.
• Ensure all purchasing processes comply with documented company procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in purchasing, expediting, transport or logistics within mining, minerals, engineering or construction.
• Demonstrated knowledge of procurement, cost control and logistics on projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High professional ethics, initiative and ability to work independently.
• Fully bilingual in English and Spanish.
