About the role

We are looking for a passionate Music Teacher to join St George's College and deliver engaging music lessons to primary and elementary students. The role involves creating a stimulating learning environment, fostering students’ musical abilities, and collaborating closely with parents and school staff to support each child’s development.

Key responsibilities

• Create and implement lesson plans and activities for primary/elementary students, ensuring alignment with curriculum standards and age‑appropriate learning goals.
• Deliver engaging and effective instruction that motivates students to explore music theory, instruments, and vocal techniques.
• Assess and monitor student learning and progress through observations, performances, and regular feedback.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student achievements, areas for improvement, and upcoming events.

Required profile

• Degree in education, music education, or a related field.
• Valid teaching certification and proven experience teaching primary or elementary students.

Required skills

• Strong classroom management and instructional skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to engage and motivate young learners in music.
