Project Manager SAP Security & Governance

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead SAP Security, access governance and identity management initiatives for a major regional company. You will be responsible for delivering projects from inception to stabilization while ensuring compliance with regional security standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, monitoring and closure of SAP security and governance projects.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams of functional, technical, security and business specialists.
• Manage project governance, tracking progress, risks, dependencies and incidents.
• Oversee requirements gathering, design, build, testing, deployment and stabilization phases.
• Ensure scope, schedule, quality and deliverables are met.
• Facilitate workshops, validation sessions, user acceptance testing and knowledge‑transfer activities.
• Prepare progress reports for steering committees and key stakeholders.
• Handle risk mitigation, change management and action‑plan execution.
• Guarantee adherence to regional security and access‑governance standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Administration or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience managing technology transformation, SAP, cybersecurity or identity‑governance projects.
• Proven experience leading regional or multi‑country projects.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Familiarity with agile and traditional project‑management methodologies.
• Experience working with distributed (onshore, nearshore, offshore) teams.
