Revenue Accountant II

About the role

Mapbox is seeking a Revenue Accountant II to join its finance team. You will play a key part in the monthly, quarterly and annual revenue close processes, ensuring accurate recognition and reporting of revenue and accounts receivable.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with the revenue accounting close process for assigned business areas, including journal entries, balance‑sheet reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Manage the full order‑to‑cash cycle: invoice preparation, collections, customer portal maintenance and reserve recommendations.
• Respond to customer inquiries about invoices, payments and tax documentation, and ensure required purchase orders and supplier registrations are in place.
• Synchronize sales opportunities from Salesforce to NetSuite, set up sales orders and verify proper revenue recognition.
• Partner with FP&A, Billing, Analytics, Revenue Operations, Support and Sales to streamline processes.
• Support preparation for the annual financial statement audit.

Required profile

• 3+ years of accounting experience, including 1–3 years in revenue accounting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Experience with NetSuite or a comparable ERP system.
• Strong time‑management, organizational and communication skills.
