Sales Manager – Peru

About the role

We are seeking a Sales Manager for the Peruvian market to represent ArcelorMittal International and the ArcelorMittal Group. The role will lead import sales activities, develop market opportunities and strengthen customer relationships while working closely with the AMI network, mills, trading partners, logistics and finance teams.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement the import sales strategy and annual sales plan in coordination with regional and country managers.
• Identify and develop new market opportunities for ArcelorMittal products and trading lines in Peru.
• Prospect and build relationships with new customers, including end‑users, service centres, mill depots and steel buyers.
• Coordinate commercial offers, quote customers and support order entry through SAP and back‑office platforms.
• Work with logistics to align pricing, ensure margin discipline and avoid inter‑group competition.
• Consolidate forecasts, monitor market activity and provide timely reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of sales and marketing experience in a medium to large company, preferably in steel, trading or import/export.
• Excellent oral and written communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.

Required skills

• Advanced MS Office proficiency (Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI).
• Experience with SAP or a similar ERP system.
