Senior Accounting Manager (Remote)

About the role

MAVIMAVI is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to own accounting operations for LATAM entities of a high‑growth US company. This remote, senior‑leadership position is hands‑on and responsible for the full close process, ledger integrity, statutory reporting, tax compliance, and auditor relationships across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end close for all LATAM entities, managing calendar, quality and cycle time.
• Own the regional general ledger, ensuring accuracy, completeness and clear documentation.
• Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, account reconciliations and supporting schedules under both local frameworks and US GAAP group reporting.
• Design and maintain close checklists, investigate unreconciled balances to root cause, and rebuild inefficient processes.
• Manage local statutory reporting, tax compliance, electronic invoicing regimes and relationships with auditors and advisors.

Required profile

• Proven senior accounting leadership experience, preferably with LATAM entities.
• Hands‑on expertise in month‑end/quarter‑end/year‑end close and ledger management.
• Strong judgment to identify gaps and the appetite to build solutions personally.
• Ability to operate at the intersection of local reporting regimes and US‑headquartered group reporting.
